Accounts of how the albino trait arose diverge: some credit a cross with an albino cubensis line stabilized by underground growers, another traces it to Robert McPherson crossing an Albino PF Classic with a Penis Envy line. No account is definitively confirmed — normal for this corner of strain history.

Lookalikes — read this twice

Confused with other pale cubensis lines such as Albino A+ and assorted 'ghost' white morphs, since albino mutants share a washed-out look regardless of lineage. Claims that APE outperforms standard Penis Envy are largely anecdotal rather than consistently lab-verified.

Deadly species grow in the same places as psilocybin ones and can resemble them closely. Never eat a wild mushroom identified from a website — including this one.
